It seems to me that you either missed my point or ignored it.

My question is why do you change your opinion of a religion because it splits--or more accurately (at least in some cases), because some people split away? OK, so "God his own bad self comes down and lays down the freaking law," and people start following verbatim (group A). Then some people (group B) break off for some stupid reason, fully deserving of the contempt you expressed.

Are you really saying that your estimation of group A would change because of group B?
