| Putting Mormons aside--I agree wholeheartedly with your estimation of the average Mormon's non-hypocrisy, though I do have questions about the theology--here's my question:
What standard for "Christian" are you using? Any religion with Jesus Christ as a central figure, absolutely everything else aside? What if we had a religion called "Jesus Christ's Church of Holy Alien Intercourse", who believed that Jesus was half-alien and plans to come back and start up weekly alien orgies? Would we have to call them Christian?
Basically, where's the dividing line? |
