I saw the doccumentary on his church and it wasn't like what comes to mind most times when people thing satanist. It was basically a bunch of non conformists that didn't agree with some attitudes displayed in christian church. They practiced their beliefs similar to how wiccans do with a chalice, and asthme<sp> blade, etc but I don't think they considered themselves wiccan either. I didn't find that groups beliefs to be anything particularly bad and happened to of found some rather intresting and that they had a point. But I don't think that makes me a satanist either. :P
As for their humour some would pop into the channel I was a moderator on. It was called #paganism but christians, atheists, wiccans, other neopagans, and satanists all went there and had philosphical chats, etc. Despite the diversity they all got along really well... Well one day we paid one guy a visit we knew in #satanism... One other op went in as god, another as joseph, and yet another as mary... and both the satanist and us were having a laugh... one of the ops in question was a gospel minister so didn't take any offense at christiantiy being around either a satanist or pretending to be holy people... Anyways that group had a wacky humour... really nice people tho. |
