                        Hmmm by slacktime 2003-02-27 09:34:49
There is a difference between loving yourself and pleasuring yourself, but then I guess you know that, I really shouldn't take the bait, but I'm a bit naive too.

As for the second question, You can tell people whatever you like providing the country you live in allows free speech, but I would say, start with the basics, work on a basic understanding of the principles Christ taught, work from that foundation. In time you'll recognize more and more of the truths contained in passages that were confusing to you before. There are mistranslations in the Bible, there are inconsistencies, and there are the precepts of men, but there are also some very beautiful gems of wisdom and some great guidelines for living. Read it to glean those pearls instead of reading it to find errors and you will enjoy the read much more.
