One each end an' steady as we go!
Tried to shift it, couldn't even lift it, we wuz gettin' nowhere!
and so we 'ad a cup 'o tea an'
"Right!" said Fred.
"Give a shout to Charlie!"
Up comes Charlie from the floor below.
After strainin' 'eavin' an' complainin' we wuz gettin' nowhere!
and so we 'ad a cup 'o tea an'
Charlie 'ad a think an' 'e thought we ought to take orf all the 'andles - and the things wot 'old the candles.
But it did no good, well I never thought it would!
"Alright!" said Fred. "We'll 'ave to take the feet orf - to take them feet orf wouldn't take a mo!"
Took it's feet orf, even with the seat orf should 'ave got us somewhere - but no!
So Fred said "Let's 'ave anuvver cup 'o tea!" an' we said "Right-o!"
"Right!" said Fred. "We'll 'ave to take the door orf! Need more room to shift the so-an'-so!"
'Ad bad twinges takin' orf the hinges an' it got us nowhere! and so we
'ad a cup 'o tea an'
"Right!" said Fred. "We'll 'ave to take the wall down! that there wall is gonna 'ave ta go!
Took the wall down, even wiv' it all down we wuz gettin' nowhere! An' so we
'ad a cup o' tea an'
Charlie had a think and and he said "look Fred, I've got a sort of feelin'
if we remove the ceilin', wiv a rope or two we can drop the bludger though"
"AlRight!" said Fred, climbin' up a ladder, wiv 'is crowbar gave a mighty blow!
Was 'e in trouble, 'alf a ton o' rubble landed on the top of his dome!
So Charlie an' me 'ad anuvver cup o' tea an' then we went 'ome!
I said to Charlie "We'll just 'ave to leave it standin' on the landin', that's all"
"Ya see the trouble wiv Fred is 'e's too 'asty!
Now ya nevver get nowhere if y'r too 'asty!"
