Okay, that idea sucks.

A lot of Asian cultures are suffering from a simular problem right now and they aren't handeling it to well. Each family has children and kills off all the girls until the eldest is male, maybe even younger girls. Problem, about a 3:1 ratio males to females. This is causing lots of fighting and lots of problems having sucessive generations.

Lots of bloody wars fought by men is about the only way to maintain this type of socioty in reality. For my "picture if you will" I sorta overlooked that part.
