After all, a guy is spent after one session with one woman. A woman can take a shower and be ready for another one shortly thereafter. It also makes more sense in that guys have a hard enough time providing for the few offspring they brought into the world. Can you imagine how much better the quality of life would be for fewer offspring with more resources? A polyandrous home would have fewer children, but better cared-for and with less stress. Each "husband" could specialize in whatever he was best at around the house so they'd all get a break. There'd be no grumbling about having to cut the grass, fix the car, take out the trash and paint the house all the time. The only downside I can see is the horrific amount of laundry and all that underwear on the floors.
