I've been an office junior, in an office where we had the choice between heat and light - and the heat option went went the boss went out - and a hole in the ladies' loo window with a hornet's nest just outside (and no light), I've been an embedded systems programmer for a company that paid me less than the receptionist and insulted me in front of clients (oh and the receptionist was caught stealing. She left after less than a year and got a £150 watch as a leaving present. I was there over 5 years, and got a £7 piece of polished stone.) I've done helpdesk for a rather notoriously bad box-shifter...and now I'm one of the UK's leading experts on Windows XP embedded.
I collect antique sewing machines and want to make costumes for a living.
