Terry Jones' Letter to the London Observer by diGriz2006-11-19 12:55:59
this really isn't that funny by xenoscr 2003-02-24 02:35:07
in my opinion I don't think we can afford to ignore Saddam. Is it worth waiting until he uses some Anthrax or other bio weapon and kills hundreds if not thousands of people? The US could have easily kept on going during Desert Storm and taken Saddam out then, instead we gave him the option to comply with a set of rules that UN gave him. That was 12 years ago, and he has not complied. If he had we would not have found anything at all. We did find things that where in violation. Mustard gas and missiles that can exceed guidelines the UN told Saddam they must adhere to.

Ok, we give inspectors more time to find things. How do we do this? A door to door search? When we do find something, how do we find the rest? We're going to have to send in a large group of people to finish the search. That would take an Army of people to accomplish.

We gave Saddam enough time to do what was asked of him already. How long would you let someone sit on weapons that could kill hundreds upon thousands of people, you could be one of them if you happen to be in an area that is attacked with such weapons. You CAN'T make an omelet without breaking some eggs.

I don't want anyone to die. Anyone! But you have to consider what the consequences of doing nothing could be.
