Lessee-
My day started at 5am (got up one hour late), got to work 65 miles away at 7am, worked until 4:30, got home again at 6, no sooner got out of the car when the cellular rings. There's a store down in Springfield (70 miles in the OTHER direction). Could you take care of it? (grumble)...ok. Grab the equipment, program it for the location, grab wire & wiring gear (just in case), stuff a food bar in my face (in leiu of dinner), and drive south. Get there at 9:30pm, the bozo that owns the store had DISSASSEMBLED the LAN wiring! (why?) Rebuild the LAN, replace a controller, two terminals and one printer, finish the paperwork & drive home. Get back at midnight, haul equipment & tools inside, email the report so I can get paid someday. In bed by 1am to get up again at 4am. 20 hour day, 280 miles travelled. Care to trade? |
