The vinyl ones are bad for burning or reading at high speeds (greator then 24X) because of the grooves on the disc. I did review Maxell CD-Rs :) Kodak stopped producing CD-Rs over a year ago though :( There are 7 major manufacturers in North America, and possibly as many as 20 or more minor ones. Possibly over 100 different ones world wide.
