And also being relatively fluent in the German language.... I used to get a huge kick out of telling people the wrong thing to say when they would ask me "How do you say.....?" This usually occured in bars when guys would have some liquid courage in them and would want to strike up a conversation with an attractive female. Two of my all time classics: After much coaching and correction I got a soldier to walk up to a girl and say "My enormous snake is heavy with blood for you." Another (on a different evening) began his conversation with "I hate my genitals." Believe it or not, the second one got lucky that night. The girl thought it was hillarious and asked him to sit down.
