with drywall cavities. Basically the air between the gypsum sheets will have a harmonic frequency, hit that with the bass and you've effectively built yourself a sonic "laser" cavity.

Then of course the gypsum sheets themselves will have harmonic frequencies, they'll vibrate in sympathy with each other, effectively turning your wall into a speaker.

Sound is fun :-)
