FreeBSD hates my video card	by thread_killer	2003-02-19 15:26:19
So I'm all excited about putting FreeBSD 5 on my box, but it turns out it is not at all excited about my Radeon video card. So if I understand what is going on.....I need to compile a custom kernel and add a couple of modules to my /etc/X11/XFree86.conf. Has anyone done this for the Raydeon? I did, in fact, use the great and powerful google, but ended up with about five different approches to try. I'm hoping someone has first hand experience that can point me in the right direction and save me a little time. Thanks TK
