UFIE input needed about BSA letter by hyzenthlay 2003-02-19 14:39:43
OK, my hubby just got a 'form' letter from the BSA. Paraphrased, it says 'We will be in your area, please make sure your software is paid for.'

Problem is - he has several programs he paid for and downloaded, but probably does not have documentation for. He has some programs which are two or more years old, for which he longer has the documentation. And yes, probably one or two which are loaded on more then one machine without multiple licenses. He uses several machines, though rarely more then one at a time :)

So, has anyone been though this? How likely are they to appear at the door, what are they looking for, how much 'cleaning' does he need to do if he can't find his backup?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks UFIES!
