See if any user has anything denied. Deny has greater priority than grant. You'll probably want to reset all permissions though. It is advised. (Hey, it's MS. First try rebooting and if that doesn't help, reinstall.) That's what some **** (I have my suspicions, but I'll rather keep them to myself) did to our web server and caused about ten portals (not just any home pages) to be left without most images and some other files. It took over a week before our "system administrator" (for some reason unknown to almost entire staff we have a contractor) took even a look at it.
