| I had similar issues w/our dorm neighbors... we shared a wall (as is the usual case) that was a built-in bookshelf/closet... most people put their stereo systems on the shelves... Our neighbor LOVED playing the same songs and rap music overnovernovernovernovernover, loudly and often left it on when they left the room, and would never turn it down when requested. Solution: we placed our own stereo system w/its (quite good) bass up against the wall, cranked the bass and vibrated everything off their blasted shelves the next time they left it on in the empty room... next time they ignored us, we repeated... until they realized that our bass was bigger and they couldn't nail everything to the shelves. |
