XMP was in HTML 2.0. It's totally not relevent to HTML today. I just put it in there to be a jerk (likewise with, well, all the other questions).

That being said, I still use XMP for debugging CGIs sometimes. Most browsers these days still recognize it and it's handy for displaying the HTML itself. I would never use it in a production web page.
