Although I must admit (and I'm opening myself up for [additional] ridicule) that I actually drive a Dodge "minivan" (with the third larvae wriggling about, it seemed like a good decision, and it turned out it was). I wouldn't even mention it except we bought it from a friend -- who was selling it to but an Expedition.
and now I hear the whining almost weekly... "I shoulda NEVER sold you the van...Come on dude, let me buy my van back, it could carry more, it got better mileage, and it was easier to drive blah blah blah --- not to dismiss the Expedition -- it really is a good vehicle, I just get a kick out of his whinning
But as we say out in the "wild" west... "Durn tootin' it chaps mah hide when folks make disparagin pathetic stereotypical remarks about "minivans" and soccer moms and such when they ob-liviously cayn't have no 'sperience wiff 'um 'cept to paint wiff broad strokes all that they fears" (Okay, maybe thats not exactly what they say... And it don't much matter to me, 'cause as I've said, I don't care... ) Another friend mocks my minivan "So, have you learned to drive in ther right hand lane?" Me: "Only when I gotta pass on that side" |
