hmm if I remember right by Arienadean 2003-02-19 09:24:35
if it aimed at a machine it would have that machines ip and to a port... then the machine would forward it over to get the device or something... I forget the finer points of it.

But generally in html if it's all on the same disk its "img src=/graphics/<image name>" and it will look in that sub dir on the disk... now if that same html says a href="http://some.site.com" as a link when clicked it should look outside the cd and look on the web for that http addy and if not connected the browser will prompt you to connect to the web or tell you it is.

In general tho I think most of the info provided the video files aren't huge can be all stored on the cdrom... if they are too huge over all what can be done is a website can be setup and the file stored there so when the html on the cd has the applicable link clicked as stated before the browser would look on the web for that site/file at the specified html/web addy. Which is handy if you expect the data file to change over time because you can just name it the same thing as the prior version and overwrite the file... so the link always points at the most recient file.

As for what you can put on a cd I think you can actually store quite a bit of power point presentation, etc on one. For my daughters funeral her stuff was presented in power point from a cd on a laptop connected to a projector.
