Apt Get: Naruki Re: SUV by desertrat66 2006-11-19 12:55:59
In case you didn't see my answer to your question yesterday, I'll repost.

The SUV in question is a Honda CRV. While not what I would prefer in an SUV (what I prefer would NOT make a good commuter vehicle.) It is safe, roomy, and gets great mileage. (Not 30+ MPG but I consider all but one vehicle in that class Honda Civic Hybrid to be suicide to ride in, and negligent to allow anyone to ride as a passenger in.) Handling is better than my 99 Malibu and comparable to my 87 Monte Carlo SS which has almost $4000 in suspension and handling upgrades.

You may want to look at the CRV-EX which is their "fully loaded" model. I got one for the wife and after we added some accessories, we still paid less than $26,000 out the door.

We added:
Sun Roof Visor
Front Splash Guards
Fog Lamps
Security System
Rear Window Deflector

Good Luck!
