Got a scam letter a week or so ago purporting to be a bill for UK Data Protection Registrar, requiring £95 UKP for registration.
Item: DPR Reg costs 35
Item: Only companies holding confidential personal info are required to register
Item: Scamming, conning bastards
Contacted local trading standards office, and thought it would be handy contacting local pess to protect other small businesses in area.
Unfortunately, they decided to send round a photographer after getting story details on phone.
Sheesh, who wants to see my ugly mug in paper!
