the person that owns the business or people on the board actually like the items. Usually with such co's the "board" tries some I think and they also test market. However "tastes" vary widely depending on where you are. I think frankly instead of someone saying assorted the best compromise is to go with the old standards glazed or 1/2 glazed and 1/2 assorted jellies.
