to me either. Just another version of duck and cover.

If it's biological, it's difficult to spread over any sizeable area anyway (problems with wind direction, speed, size of agent, and it's reaction with surroundings). And if it's radioactive, you're either in the area that gets it or not.

To me the risk and stress level isn't much different than waiting to see if the next tornado wipes you off the face of the earth.

Not that I wouldn't want all the people responsible to die a very slow death.
