| I have had pains in the past, still do sometimes...always after I visit a user desk with the mouse way the hell over there, BEHIND the monitor, (stupid stupid), and I always try to remind (train again(and again)) that the mouse should be near the edge of the desk. Basically, if you are reaching for it, YOU'RE WRONG! That said, I wear a *real* copper bracelet, (oooo, pretty) and it does help. The pains in my elbow..(yes the elbow is carpal pain too) is gone, or appears very seldom. Alot of folks here have had the surgery, gone for weeks-months, and come back only to get the pain again. Good desk, good posture, frequent stretch breaks, and good mouse position are the keys. And yes, trackballs are better. I have used them for like, 7 years, and they are soooooo much better than mice, (imo). Take it as you will, but the bottom line is to NOT REACH for the mouse. |
