Robots, unless they are seriously biologically enhanced, do not need such things. They can operate at their highest capacities already.

Nobody is capable of defining those artificial concepts in a logical manner - there are always examples that can disprove any argument for the rightness or wrongness of a given action. Those concepts only appear logical when a bunch of assumptions are made (called "beliefs" by the Ego).

I'd say that strong emotions override false logic, based on your statement. Not "abstraction".

Is life sacred, or even something that _should_ be cherished? Someone who believes in "right" and "wrong" will most likely say yes. But they can never answer "why" in purely logical terms. You'll only blow some circuits if you try to make a robot think like you.

Even if you get really close, you'll be horribly surprised at some of the "command decisions" it makes.
