Well.
I just dl'd and ran 3DMark03. Previously, 3DMark2001SE, run in 800x600x32, no AA or ani. filtering, performance set to application, would benchmark in at 7400 or so... whoopee...
For the uninitiated, 3DMark is designed when released so that a bottom line system at release date (defined by Futuremark as approx a 1Ghz cpu and a Dx8.1 vid card) should score around 1000, with a top line sustem (approx a 3Ghz cpu and a DX9 card with 128MB on the card) scoring around 5000. When 2001SE was released, scores were around 5000-5200 after launch, nowadays topping out around 20000 or more.
My 3DMark03 results under the same 800x600x32 etc (default... grr...) conditons run at 937 marks.
System stats are as follows - I feel the HD is a weak point though. No overclocking has been done, and I am now realizing just where I stand on the "modern" 3D render power scale (dusts off bottom step and plants hind end firmly and comfortably). Has anyone else yet run, and if so, what scores / stats / etc?
