And there is NEVER medical necessity for partial birth abortions. If the doctor can perform a partial birth abortion, the child can be viably born. The head is the hard part of labor anyway (at least, so I'm told) so once the head is out and the doctor can do the PBA, there is also the alternative of waiting five f*cking minutes for the child to be born.
