The US and AIDS in Africa by fiordhraoi2003-02-13 09:45:20

Sounds to me by Dagda 2003-02-13 10:30:25
like he's looking out for his re-election. But that's another matter entirely.

What else I got? Three words: Partial birth abortions. Now, while I agree that sometimes abortions are necessary (for instance, if the life of the mother is in danger, or in cases of rape or incest), I do not agree with this particular procedure. Do you know what it is? No? The doctor delivers the baby partway. As soon as the head is fully out of the mother, the doctor crushes the skull and sucks out the brain of the child with a vacuum type thing. Tell me that isn't barbaric, and I'll tell you that you're a f*cking idiot.

The upshot of all this is that Daschle supports this completely brutal procedure and seems to see nothing wrong with the murder of a perfectly viable child mere minutes before it is delivered from the mother. Why can't the mothers put their children up for adoption, for God's sake?
