They mostly use a client-server database app. As only input type checking and displaying is done on the client there's always idle time. I wasn't really sure before installing so I did a test run with one of the gals. The app seemed not to be any slower so it was installed (almost) everywhere. I guess there are some good points for a software that could run on a 486.
