Gah! Stupid OS... I have a problem with a file on XP, the file when left in it's initial location is fine, but when moved anywhere else seems to get a bit hedgehogged. When the file is in it's new location, and the folder containing it is accessed, the file in question is read, but for some reason windoze can't seem to get the hang of stopping reading it. File Monitor from Sysinternals confirms this.
My problem is of course that constantly accessing this one file slows down windoze somewhat, until it is rebooted or (more likely) crashes having eaten up all it's own CPU time with this file.
