Stupidest Review Question Ever: Can you answer it? by skippy-ish_guy2003-02-13 08:37:27

As frightening as that sounds. by Avium 2003-02-13 09:06:01
I believe it's true. One of my clients is using a Cisco VPN setup and in order to configure it, the admin in Atlanta (I'm in Toronto) used PC Anywhere to my laptop to get to the VPN box from the inside to configure it.

He insisted that the gateway address didn't need to be filled in on the VPN box, just the ip address of the VPN server. Eventually (6 hours) later someone told him to put the gateway address in to "see if that helps."

And people wonder why I laught at MCSEs.
