Nor can it be anything left over from any of the previous users either. Personally, I'm convinced they use such things as an excuse to make sure us users can't customize our workspace to be efficeint for ourselves. I'd now send in another trouble ticket saying that all your customizations were lost and you can't do your work. Tell them they lost vital code from the machine, and you can't get it back because you don't have admin access to your own machine anymore.
