Ehm, hate to advertise (well not really), butta...the Netherlands is reasonably at the same standard as the US.

Ok, ADSL is still a bit more expensive here, but it's still very good :)

We do have some other bunch of strange and dirty men running the country, but in a much better way then in the US
(here you can't have total control over the country with less then 50% of the votes)
Which reminds me, most voting is done by pressing a button on a voting machine, no recounts necesary. January 22nd we had elections, Jan 23rd 1.00AM we had the results (99.99%, the rest were people voting from abroad so they had to wait a few days).
Works pretty well :)
