Ok, this hopefully won't start a flamewar (and I'm *not* trolling) but I'm curious, what do you guys think of Germany (and France) right now?

I've read so much about "The Opinion Of The American People", ranging from "We no longer will buy *anything* from you, let alone talk to you" to "Thank god, at least *someone* who voices their protest", that I'm not sure what's real...
