I am "planning" a "spontaneous" trip to Calgary this weekend (yes, it's contradictory, yes, I know). So far, I want to go to Glenbow Museum, Calgary Zoo (did you know they're open all year? I didn't!), and Ikea (yay! no PST!). Any other suggestions? Actually, that's probably more than I'll be able to fit in already since I'd be going up Saturday and coming back probably Monday sometime. Also, any suggestions for accomodation? I'm thinking cheap (real cheap) and so far the only thing that seems cheap enough is the hostel (at $21/night each for a Dorm type room, doesn't seem too bad). Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated (as well as "Calgary hostel is scary" comments, if based on actual experience). Yay! I might actually get to go somewhere and do something (for cheap!)
