If you're using static IP's, then XP must also be	by kahuana	2003-02-09 11:11:14
'set up' as static. The IP# for 'gateway' probably won't factor into your problem since it's only used for addresses outside your subnet. If you can 'ping' the various machines, then check that things like "workgroup" names are the same. Also make sure that the 9X machines have the "File and Printer Sharing" service installed (even if no files or printers will be shared). IIRC, the MSLANMAN stuff which makes Network Neighborhood work only comes in with this service.
