Fun Silly Question (Maybe) by BoofleNord 2003-02-09 07:00:30
I'm an author writing a silly story and I need a little help on a technical level.

At one point in the story my main character calls Tech Support because his computer keeps disconnecting from the Internet. The tech support gives him some VERY complicated instructions concerning different wires and cables. I don't know enough about this sort of thing to compose a good paragraph or hyper-technical instructions. Can someone here give me a paragraph of instructions for connecting wires and cables from a computer to a modem or whatever that would make a beginner at computers absolutely dizzy? Hope someone can help! Thanks!
