I didn't follow an exact recipe I had two infront of me that were diffrent for the meatballs.
I used 1cup sour cream, aprox 3 pounds lean ground beef, 1tsp dry mustard, 2 tsp nutmeg, 2 tbsp parsley, 1/8tsp black pepper, 1/8 tsp salt, 2 large eggs, 3 tbsp of dried chives, and 3 slices of multigrain bread ground into crumbs. The egg and sour cream makes for a rather fluffy meatball with a creamy taste. Normally you'd use a mix of pork and beef... This time I didn't though. And you usually make a simple white sauce for them and they sitting in the sauce create their own gravey and you can put some liongonberry jam on the side. But they also taste good with knor alfredo sauce or knor 3 mushroom sauce on pasta. |
