north american meatballs. North americans sometimes mix french onion soup or and egg in their beef then make meatballs or hamburgers. Or they just have egg, oatmeal (or bread crumbs), and onion with ground beef in theirs(be they hamburgers or meatballs). The lingonberry sauce that you get with swedish meatballs reminds me of cranberry sauce but it's set on the side and the meatballs are actually in a gravey which is a cream sauce. Personally I like them on noodles with the cream sauce. But when you get them at Ikea stores restaurants they give you roasted potatoes with them and a side dish of chicken noodle soup. Quite good and quite cheap at $6 a plate.
