| The USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63), an 86,000 ton American aircraft carrier may be sailing into the Arabian Gulf to join the task forces already there.
They're a vessel of note to me because I was contacted by one of the Petty Officers on board some time back. Apparently there are quite a few UF readers serving on the vessel, and he wanted permission to replicate the cartoon on their daily intranet and newsletter for the crew. Granted, of course.
Here's hoping they don't have to come into harm's way. Among a million other hopes. |
