what are some signs of narcolepsy? by sketcher2003-02-06 11:20:10
narcolepsy... yet another sleep disorder by rottweiler2003-02-06 14:22:06
    informative by sketcher 2003-02-06 14:35:59
i dont ever get cataplexic, but i wake up with vivid hallucinations a lot- it usually takes me around i think 15 minutes to fall alseep, and when i do sleep its usually very very light- i can be woken up by anything, like a shift in the wind

erm, i dont know if this counts as cataplexy, but i have muscle twitches a bunch, usually like in my legs or arms

sometimes, i hallucinate, but i dont see anything, i just get like this powerful feeling of being cut
really slowly
and yeah, im feeling it right now since im talking about it
it eventually makes me tremble a bit
but i dont geet to any point of like falling asleep or anything

sometimes time feels like it slows down when im trying to sleep
like i will go to bed, and im just laying there, '20' minutes later, i turn over and see that only 5 minutes have passed
and thats a really weird feeling, cause i can usually keep track of time pretty damn well

im thinking i probably am not narcoleptic, but someone else had described the symptoms of sleep apnea and that sounded a lot more like what i have been going through
