said basically the same thing after watching the speech.... I told him to remember that the majority of us DIDN'T vote for him... I can't justify his actions, nor can I justify those of Saddam. I can't deny that I believe that killing other humans (and therefore war) is immoral. I also can't deny that Saddam is a threat to his neighbors and the world at large. I'm just afraid that many, many innocent people will suffer the consequences of this "moral issue" It's just that I'm old enough to remember the "daily kill count" on the evening news during the Viet Nam conflict (yep, just like the sports scores) and I guess I've seen to enough death to understand that war is humanity at its worst.
