In order to insure caffine doesn't imapct you ability to go to sleep, have none after about 4 pm....

A sleep study may be in order... you may have sleep apnea (many of us do). You CAN'T get a "good night's sleep" (because your body keeps waking you up (slightly) to breathe... ) thereby making it difficult to concentrate during the day, making you want to sleep during the day etc. It can and WILL lead to serious health problems (including early demise) if not treated... (Do you snore?)... I use/am supposed to use a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) device every night to assist in breathing... don't screw around with it. Talk to your doc, get a sleep study.
