I do sympathise with both of them, but I still can't sit silent while a helpless old person is being put down for being old. That body and brain are almost 100 years old, and it's not fair to be unkind to her when she can't help being what she is: a person having to think with a probably wearing-out brain and manage a wearing-out body, while someone 70 years younger rants at her that she's not trying. Regardless of her past mistakes, it's just not right to mistreat her. Perhaps thewrongcrowd would benefit from a support group to help so that these feelings don't lead to behaviors that cause Grandma more harm. Caregiver Support Groups on Google
