if I really objected to advertising, I wouldn't be here debating the rights and wrongs of advertising... banners, ok. Anything that blocks access to desired content, even temporarily (pop-ups, interstitials, float-overs) or ambushes you (pop-unders): Bad and Wrong, not to mention Evil, and Rude to boot...
