If you get more than 10 hours or less than 6 hours of sleep, you might want to try for closer to 8 hours.

Dehydration could do it too.

Also, the caffine could have something to do with it. Cut back slowly though unless you want really bad headaches. Try replacing some of the sodas/coffees with cups of water.

AFAIK, narcolepsy does not cause someone to feel tired. They are just wide awake and then, for no discernable reason, they are sound asleep (even while talking).
