..i'm a long-time lurker, maybe stepping out of the shadows might help my complexion?
i got struck be the UF-productivity-virus very badly about 1 year ago, and have been reading daily ever since.
i feel a deep connection with Greg:
Me: "Okay, i see your problem, we'll fix that right away. I'll need the name of your pc."
User: "Uhhh.."
Me: "It's on a little sticker on the front of your pc, it goes something like <cites example based on naming-policy>."
User: "I don't see a sticker... ..wait, is it this?"
Me: "No, sorry, that's the model of your screen. The pc-name is on the computer, not the screen. It's on a little white sticker."
User (after a moment of looking around): "I don't see any white stickers.."
Me: "On the front of your pc.. ..that's the big black box underneath your desk."
User: "Oh, you mean the power-adapter?"
That's a daily occurence, and why UF has become so important to my (mental) health.
