Over the past several weeks, though, American UFies have been losing their jobs because of the crappy economy. Your BF's situation reminds me why nepotism is not good as a rule. In a rational world, bosses wouldn't be so stupid as to base their hiring practices on if the applicants are related to, boffing or went to school with the boss. This is not a rational world. The only reason there aren't laws against it everywhere is because the fatcats know their kids are so stupid, they couldn't get a real job anywhere else so they lobby against such laws.
