If have just booked time for Susie by Spisefisken2003-02-06 01:57:13
So she's none the worse for wear from by NOLAWitch 2003-02-06 05:43:59
her incident of falling out the window? I trust she's in fine fettle now. Good. You'll have her for decades. One of my cats lived to be 21 years old; another lived to be 18. My oldest cat now is 12. They're better off being spayed/neutered and living a pleasant indoor life.

My sailor friend told me my house is like Jazzland (a local amusement park) for cats. There's the "run up and down stairs like a maniac" ride. There's the "try to get into the cat-proofed cabinets" ride. There's the "pull the books and records off the shelves" ride. There's the "sleep all day on the couch" ride. There's the "crawl into the human's lap while it tries to read the paper" ride. That's a favorite. Newspapers, magazines, books, spreadsheets or reports, it doesn't matter as long as the cat is right in the middle of it.

It's also nice to have cats when your friends come over and they're a little down. Hand them a cat. Cats are warm and fuzzy and make everyone (except the allergic) feel better.

Why? Because they're perverse little things. by NOLAWitch2003-02-06 06:01:57
There is an actual reason for that, Spise by Sieldan2003-02-06 06:15:28
